Cards to Share
This list is good for crafters who like to make and receive cards.
If you don’t like making cards this list is not for you.

On this list you make greeting cards of any theme, size and any technique.
It's a great way of exchanging ideas and trying out new techniques and textures
This list also helps the environment as it turns your single use card into a card that can bring joy to 2 or more receivers.
The instructions for the list are outlined below:
-
The card you send can be any size or shape and any technique.
-
On the inside of the card you attach a removeable insert using a piece of washi tape or any temporary adhesive.
-
On the bottom of the removeable insert you can either write or adhere the following (which you can create on your computer).
-
There is also a stamp set available from Simon Says Stamps.
-

Here are some examples of the wording you can use:
1- Please feel free to remove this note and send the card on to another loved one.
2- Keep the kindness going...Remove this note and share the card with a friend.
3- Make someone smile. Pass this card on!
4- Share the love and send this on to another.
5-Sharing is caring. Pass this card on to a friend.
You can of course use your own wording provided it conveys a similar message. Once your card is passed on it's not so single use anymore.

-
When you have made the card with the removable insert you send it to another member on the C2S list.
-
You must make a card for every member on the list. I hope you enjoy making this type of card that is no longer a single use item and is showing respect for our planet.
-
To ensure the receiver knows who the card is from and from which list make sure your removable insert has the following
-
your name
-
a little personal message,
-
write UKSN/C2S with your message
-

When you receive a card that is made for you with the removable insert
-
remove the removable insert
-
feel free to send this on to anyone as long as they are not on the C2S list
-
do not claim that card as your own work.
-
once you have received that first card you make a card with the removable insert for the sender as a way of saying thank you (but the card doesn’t actually have to say thank you on it).
• the person who sent you a card then waits to receive a card from you.
That way the cards keep going back and forth.
I would suggest that you keep a record of who you have sent to and who you have received from and not just trust it to memory or the cycle of sending and receiving will halt.
