Something Old, Something New, Something Gifted and Any Hue (ONGH)

Something Old, Something New, Something Gifted and Any Hue (ONGH)

This list is very different to the other exchanges. With all our other exchange lists there are no themes and you are free to express your creativity as long it is fits in the designated size and space of that particular list.  With this list you can make any handmade papercraft gift as long as it fits in the pocket and you stick to the theme. This is not a place to give someone something blank that they have to decorate. The item you are putting in is already a decorated finished item and when the book is filled and is returned to the maker of the book, the maker of the book is allowed to use that item (as long as it is outside of the club). If you are putting in a tag, the tag is not blank it is fully decorated and ready to be used. With all our lists it’s about seeing what other members are doing and gaining
inspiration as their work passes by you. The same thing is happening here but this time you are not limited to making something that is dictated by the list.

Now you have more freedom to let your creativity run wild.

Rules

Pocket  1 is the something old pocket. You can choose whatever you prefer to make as long as you are using something you have owned for more than 6 months and you stick
to the theme which you will find on the front cover and the back cover.

Pocket 2 is the something new pocket made with something you have bought that you have not used yet. It doesn’t make any difference how long you have had it as long as this is the first time you are using it and you stick to the theme.

Pocket 3 is the something gifted to you pocket, which could be a free stamp off the cover of a crafting magazine or something you have not paid for. As long as you haven’t bought it
yourself and it was given to you, it is eligible and you stick to the theme.
Pocket 4 is the any hue pocket. Whatever you choose to make can be any colour you choose, as long as it sticks to the theme.

When you have added to a pocket please add a separate piece of paper or card with your name on it and what you used that was either old or new or gifted. In the hue pocket you can say why you chose that colour.

Here are some suggestions of handmade things to put in the pockets:
Tags, paper flowers, clusters, toppers, tiny note books, hidden paperclips, a mini zine, dangles, a diecut sentiment and shadow, or anything that would make a nice little gift.
There is so much inspiration on YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, go have a look. Anything you put in the pockets should take time to make and not slapped together in 2 minutes.

Please be aware of the thickness of your entry as it should not make the book bulky to send.
