Cancer Support Group

Recently Sue T, one of UKSNs long standing members,  reorganised their ATC's that they had received from the members of the group. They were out on her table and her Sister-in-law was visiting. "Oh these are wonderful", she said, then she went onto tell her about the small cards that she used to be able to buy from the local charity shop. She used them as little Thank you, Just Because and thinking of you cards. After she went home Sue went through the ATCs again and picked some out that were suitable to make into little cards. A couple of days later and a long envelope making session these were the results. Sue's Sister-in-law is a long term Cancer sufferer and belongs to a support group locally so along with some for herself she took the others in small bundles of ten in each along to the meetings and they raised some funds for the group. Sue also used the returned JOI artwork to make 4x4 cards and envelopes again these went to the support group.  This is a great way to recycle the clubs artwork and spread a little bit of joy to the local community.
